I really didn't want to have to do this -- I really didn't. But circumstances being what they are, I'm left with no alternative.
Last Friday night, a couple of friends and I were sitting around Taco Bell discussing all manner of whatever it is we discuss when one friend visciously maligned something near and dear to my heart (as well as my other friend's heart). Without transcribing the conversation, let me summarize my position most clearly:
