Admittedly, the whole “Successories” thing seems to have run its mid-’90s course. That doesn’t mean that there’s no perfectly good reason to continue to produce satirical imagery (Despair.com’s raison d’être).
Thus, I present to you some of my own mediocre “prints,” originally inspired by a now-defunct thread on the Something Awful forums:
Creating these images was also an excuse to show off some of my photography, though I’m pretty sure a retouched photo of a demolished cube farm isn’t the most arresting thing you’ll ever see.

I just went to a recruiter’s office a few days ago, and the walls were COVERED in those…the originals, not the ironic Despair kind. Delusional? Yes…I think so.
People still keep these things (the “motivational” kind) around? Wow.
Someday, I’m going to get a bunch of the despair versions and sneak into recruiters’ offices and replace their smarmy groupthink with more realistic versions.
No, I’m not.
Without my posters, I don’t know how best to start the day. But then I look up and see "TEAMWORK" and I know I have to work with others. And then I see "RISK" and I know I have to sacrifice a few of my teammates. I stay so confused.
